28 Maoists surrender

Sarlahi, November 21:

Twenty-eight Maoists, including the party’s Sarlahi district committee members, surrendered to the local administration today. This is the first time the Maoists have surrendered in such a large number in the district. According to the superintendent of police, Manohar Rimal, Maoist district committee member, Nawal Kishor Thakur, and area in-charge Ram Naresh Shah were among those who surrendered. CDO Bodh Raj Adhikari welcomed them amidst a programme.
