3 firms asked to shut down

Janakpurdham, March 31:

Janakpur Division Office of the Cooperatives today asked three companies, which are operating their branch offices here, to shut down offices, as their operation is against the Cooperatives Act and regulations.

Oriental, Sahara and Raj Shree cooperatives were asked to close their branches, said Ramanand Thakur, acting cooperatives officer at the division office. Sahara Savings and Loan Investment, and Raj Shree Savings and Cooperatives Ltd, which have their offices in Malangwa were operating in Janakpur through its branches.
