BHOJPUR: Police have arrested three women in possession of one kg marijuana from Mohariya of Bhojpur-10 on Thursday.

The suspects have been identified as Mira Bogati (58), Tirtha Kumari Shrestha (51) and Tara Bogati (30) of the same locality.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team deployed by the District Police Office arrested them with the drug yesterday.

Action against the trio will be taken as per the Narcotic Drugs (Control) Act, 2033 (1976), the District Police Office informed.
