3 held with 20 kg of hemp

Birgunj, July 24:

Police on Sunday arrested three persons with 20 kg of hemp today from the Birgunj bus park while they were heading to India. They had hid the contraband under the seats of rickshaws. According to DSP Madan Keshari, the arrested are Prabhu Shah Kalwar of Parsha district and Indian rickshaw pullers Ramesh Das Tatwa and Subhash Pandit. Police suspected Kalwar might have been involved in other smuggling activities as well. The two Indians said they were trying to help Kalwar as he had lured them of a good sum of money for the same. The trio has been kept at district police office.
