JUMLA: A total of 316 complaints have been registered in the transitional justice bodies -- Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) and Commission of Investigation on Enforced Disappeared Persons (CIEDP) -- so far in Jumla through the local peace committee.
The TRC and the CIEDP are formed to deal with the incidents of human rights violation and enforced disappearances dating back to the decade long armed conflict (1996-2006) in the country.
To date, 303 complaints have been registered at the TRC and 13 complaints at the CIED, according to local peace committee acting office secretary Belu Rokaya.
