BHOJPUR: At least five persons were injured after being struck by a lightning at Balanga VDC in Bhojpur on Thursday.

The identities of the injured are yet to be established.

It has been learned that the lightning struck them at around 3 am.

The injured are receiving treatment at a local health post, local Raj Kumar Khatri said.

The lightning also damaged the local 11-kilowatt Buwakhola Micro Hydropower Project.
