5 kg hashish found in passenger bus
RAUTAHAT: A total of five kg hashish was handed over to the police in Chandranigahapur on Tuesday.
The Area Police Office, Chandranigahapur, informed that the passengers of a tourist bus (Ba 3 Kha 2033) travelling from Hetaunda to Lalbandi found the hashish in a bag of an unidentified passenger and handed over to the police.
The contraband was discovered when the passenger opened the bag while getting off at Nijgadh, said DSP Manoj Kumar Yadav. Police informed the unidentified passenger fled the scene when the contraband was discovered.
Police said they are searching for the absconding man and the further investigation is underway.
