KALAIYA: A six-year-old boy who went missing for the past 14 hours was found dead in a pond in Kalaiya district today.

Kanhaiya Saha, son of Ram Bijaya Saha of Kalaiya Sub Metropolis-20, had gone missing since 5:00 pm yesterday, according to police.

His clothes were found floating on a pond at a distance of 100 metres from his home. The body was found after the family members searched the pond, police said.

The police have started investigation for a possible foul play as they wait for the autopsy report.

The body has currently been kept at the Kalaiya Hospital.
