LAHAN: An elderly woman who was injured in a motorcycle hit in Siraha district succumbed to injuries on the way to hospital on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Sahodiya Kamati (60) of Jholi in the district.

The motorcycle (Sa 4 Pa 1968), en route to Choharwa, had hit Kamati in Bhaluwahi last night, according to the District Police Office.

Police have impounded the two-wheeler and arrested its rider for further investigation.
