6,670 students appearing for SEE from Nawalpur district

Nawalpur, March 19

As many as 6,670 candidates are appearing in this year’’s Secondary Education Examination from Nawalpur.

According to Education Development and Coordination Unit Nawalpur, 6,627 students from 84 community schools and 49 private schools are sitting for the SEE from the regular category. A total of 43 students are appearing in the exam from the exempted category. As many as 24 exam centres have been fixed for SEE across the district.

Education Development and Coordination Unit Chief Krishna Chandra Pokhrel said preparations for the exam had reached final stage.

Gandaki Province government has allocated budget to purchase sanitary pads for menstruating girl students during the exams. Ministry of Social Development provided Rs 43,000 to the Education Development and Coordination Unit for the purchase of sanitary pads.
