7 cases of dengue in Bhojpur, committee formed for disease control

BHOJPUR: As many as seven persons have been diagnosed with dengue in Bhojpur district.

With the steady increase of dengue patients in the district, a meeting of concerned stakeholders formed a committee to create a work-plan within September 11 for the control of the disease.

Members of the committee include District Coordination Officer, doctors from Bhojpur Hospital, Chief of District Health Office, and Health Coordinator of Bhojpur Municipality, informed Assistant Chief District Officer (CDO), Prayas Bhattarai.

According to Assistant CDO Bhattarai, the committee will have to present the work-plan during the meeting scheduled for September 13.

The district will be making plans for the control and prevention of dengue as well as treatment of infected patients as per the presented work plan, added Bhattarai.
