KATHMANDU: At least seven passengers were injured when two buses collided at Jurauli in Gobardiya-1 along the East-West Highway in Dang district, on Monday. The incident occurred when the Passenger bus (Na 5 Kha 5042) collided head-on with the bus (Na 4 Kha 5308) injuring the passengers aboard the vehicles,at around 6:15 pm yesterday, police informed. Among the injured, Madhu Pokharel of Birendranagar-8 in Pyuthan district, Beli Magar of Aresh-4 in Rolpa district and Purnima Shakya of Ghorahi in Dang district are said to be in critical condition. Meanwhile, police have impounded both the vehicles and detained the drivers for further investigation.
