JHAPA: As many as eight people, including four women and four Indian nationals, were arrested for their alleged involvement in sex trade from Birtamod in Jhapa on Sunday.

Acting on a tip-off, the Birtamod Area Police Office reached Naya Buspark of Birtamod and arrested them from a local hotel.

Police said they had arrived Nepal on a vacation from India.

Further investigation into the case is underway.
