DHULIKHEL: Mahima Pokharel was killed in an accident at Kavrebhanjyang on Wednesday.

Pokharel, an actress, was returning from a shooting. Police said a tipper had hit the motorbike Pokharel and Dinesh Shrestha were riding. Shrestha is undergoing treatment at Scheer Memorial Hospital in Banepa. The locals halted the BP Highway following the accident. The driver is in custody, police said.

Meanwhile, Hom Prasad Rokka, 52, of Myagdi's Kuhu VDC was killed when a bulldozer knocked him down at Kuhu area on Wednesday, police said. Roka lost his life for he could not be taken for treatment immediately, the locals said.
