ADB loan assistance

Kathmandu:

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has agreed to provide a loan assistance of 56 million US dollars (NRs 4038.72m) and grant assistance of $8.7 million (NRs 627.44m) to the Government of Nepal for the implementation of rural finance sector development programme. The agreements to this effect were signed on Wednesday between govenment and ADB at the Ministry of Finance. Finance secretary Vidyadhar Mallik and Kunio Senga of ADB signed the agreements.
