Administrative transition is ended: Minister Pandit

KATHMANDU: Minster for Federal Affairs and General Administration Lal Babu Pandit on Saturday said that transition in administration has come to an end with the enforcement of the new constitution.

"Transition in administration will end by mid-July and employees' management will be made to keep up with federal setup," Minister Pandit said during an interaction programme in Kathmandu on Saturday. Coordination between civil servants and people's representatives will take place in the process, he added

Minster Pandit also claimed that his ministry completed 90 percent of the assigned preliminary work when the government recently completed 100 day's period. On the government's policies and programmes unveiled recently, he termed them a positive sign of development.

Likewise, Rastriya Janata Party (RJP) leader Mahendra Raya Yadav accused the government of ignoring the demand of Madhesi people for constitution amendment, while saying the time has come for them to consider their support to the incumbent government.

Similarly, Nepali Congress leader and former minister Sanjaya Gautam claimed that the government's policy and programmes failed to accommodate the development programmes.
