‘Maoists leaving peace track’

DHULIKHEL: Minister for Information and Communications Shankar Pokharel today said that the Maoists were deviating from the peace process.

Laying the foundation stone of the building for Kavre office of Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) at

Dhulikhel, Pokharel accused the UCPN-Maoist of leaving the path of peace. Expressing the government’s flexibility for unity and consensus among political parties for drafting the constitution on time, he said

that the former rebels wanted revolution, not constitution.

The minister revealed that postal offices in the districts would be developed as information centres by connecting them to the fibre optic super-highway.
