Agitation on, says Prachanda

SINDHULI: Unified CPN-Maoist Chairman Puspa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ on Sunday said that their movement would continue until the ‘achievement of national independence’.

Addressing a ‘people’s assembly’ organised by the party here in Sindhuligadhi, he said that the UCPN-M intended to keep ‘camaraderie relationship’ with India. He said, “We want to move ahead with parallel relation with India.”

Stating that the Maoist would carry on with their stir for independence until they accomplish it, he said, “The time is ripe for the Nepali people to become honest for their motherland.” He also claimed that king Birendra, UML’s general secretary Madan Bhandary, Kanchanpur’s revolutionary fighter Bhimdutta Panta were killed as they declined to bow before ‘bidhesi prabhu’.

He also claimed that the nationality has been on the brink of danger due to the Indians, who speak English language and the ministers who speak the language of Junga Bahadur. Prachanda said, “The new generation will curse us if we don’t speak against foreign intervention.”
