Ailing Prime Minister delaying talks, says minister
Though the situation is getting tougher, the government is not functioning as it ought to, all because of an ailing Prime Minister Girjia Prasad Koirala, who has neither the will nor the energy to tackle problems facing the nation or running the state administration, Minister of State for General Administration Dharmanath Prasad Shah said at a programme held here today.
“The reason for the delay in holding peace talks and settling other burning issues is due to PM’s old age and frail health.”
Addressing another programme held by FNJ Palpa chapter, he said the summit talks are likely to be held on September 28. He urged the Maoists to join the mainstream in a peaceful manner and without arms.
