ANNISU-R order to admit kids in govt schools

ANNISU-R has issued an order to all the Maoist leaders, cadres, government teachers and officials to admit their children to government schools by the end of next month. Issuing a statement here today, Prakash Poudel, acting chairman of ANNISU-R, Morang, said the programme would be run under the Kamal Pasindra Organisation Fortification and Expansion Programme. Pressurising the private schools to cut down 29 per cent in school fees, the statement has warned that ANNISU-R would strictly monitor the issue. It has also demanded a fee cut of 25 per cent in Higher Secondary Schools. The organisation has already banned the registration of new schools in the district. Poudel has also warned the unregistered schools to close down. He added that his organisation would strictly monitor such schools.

The statement has informed that the names of 15 government schools and colleges have been changed. According to their information, Mahendra Morang Adarsha Multiple Campus, Biratnagar has been renamed as Martyr Phanindra Timsina Adarsha Multiple Campus. ANNISU-R has said that other schools would be also renamed after the martyrs.
