KATHMANDU: Armed Police Force personnel confiscated 100 kg marijuana from Kankalinimai Municipality-1 of Saptari district on Saturday evening.

The APF said a team deployed from the Barmajhiya-based Dantakali Battalion found the contraband packed in 95 bags and buried in a bamboo groove by unidentified persons.

The haul was handed over to the Nepal Police's Area Police Office in Kanchanpur for further investigation and action.
