Kathmandu, May 7:

Eastern Region Headquarters of the Armed Police Force (APF) today organised a security meeting with Chief District Officers, officials from the Nepal Army and the Nepal Police of Saptari and Siraha districts to combat cross-border crimes in the districts.

Shambhu Koirala, CDO of Saptari and Shashi Shekhar Shrestha, CDO of Siraha attended the meeting convened by DIG Thakur Mohan Shrestha, a statement issued by the APF headquarters said.

The meeting took up the issues of encroachment of land, cross-border crimes among others.
