Armed group murders woman in Kailali jungle
DHANGADHI: A woman was found dead in a forest in Trishakti Municipality of Kailali district on Wednesday.
Aarati Nepali (23) was heading to her parents' house with her husband Himlal while she was allegedly murdered by an armed gang, according to SP Rajendra Bista of the Kailali District Police Office.
Nepali had died on the spot in the Badhuwa Women's Community Forest of Jhaljhaliya.
Police said she had deep cut injuries on her neck.
Himlal, however, escaped the attack.
Bista informed that a police team was sent to the incident site and further investigation is underway.
Meanwhile, police also suspected Himalal's involvement in the incident as he was unhurt. He has been nabbed for further investigation, according to Bista.
Kanchanpur man kills son
Meanwhile, a man allegedly killed his eight-year-old son in Bhimdatta Municipality-15 of Kanchanpur district today.
Local Bishnu Bhatta killed his son Harish by strangling with a wire, according to police.
The suspect has been nabbed and further investigation is underway.
