Army integration for peace: Prakash

POKHARA: Vice chairman of UCPN-Maoist Narayan Kaji Shrestha ‘Prakash’ on Monday said that only a government led by his party would be able to draft the new constitution on time. Speaking at a programme organised by Revolutionary Journalists Association in Pokhara Shrestha reiterated that the peace process would end only if the Maoist combatants were integrated into the national army. He also claimed that the protest programmes were launched to restore the civilian supremacy and fight against foreign interference. He blamed the other political parties for obstructing the constitution drafting process by ignoring his party’s demands.
