KAKARVITTA: Chairperson of the Local Peace Committee in Jhapa and district chair of Sadbhawana Party Surya Narayan Ganesh along with other Madheshi cadres, who were arrested on Wednesday for forcing buses to close service, were released the same night.

Ten persons including the Committee Chair Ganesh had been arrested by police from Birtamod yesterday morning, as they went around enforcing the banda.

They were released at 9:00 pm last night in the presence of the Dialogue Group Jhapa, according to the DSP Sanjaya Bahadur Raut of Area Police Office.
