Pokhara, January 19:

Chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party Pashupati Shumsher Rana today accused that the Maoists had still been exhibiting weapon-backed arrogance.

Speaking at an interaction organised by the Kaski chapter of Nepal Mass Communication Forum, Rana said, “The Maoists, ranging from the central leaders to local cadres, possess the arrogance of weapons.”

“Despite Prachanda’s repeated assurance that Young Communist League would be dissolved soon, the same has not been done,” he said, adding that the terror unleashed by YCL still existed in every organ of the state.

He said the Maoists’ army should have been disarmed before he CA elections.
