Kathmandu, August 10:

Dr Arzu Deuba, spouse of beleaguered former Prime Minister and Nepali Congress (Democratic) President Sher Bahadur Deuba, today said those who have faith in the independence of the Supreme Court should move it. She said this indicating at the possibility of moving the apex court to secure the release of her husband, who has been sentenced to imprisonment by the Royal Commission for Corruption Control (RCCC).

“None of us have faith in RCCC. But all of us believe justice will not be denied by the SC,” Dr Deuba told senior journalists at her Budhanilkantha residence. This is the first time she has interacted with the mediapersons. She also took serious note of the fact that the international community is now backing the cause of her husband.
