Arzu Deuba vows development

Dhangadi, October 31

Nepali Congress leader Arzu Deuba today said her candidacy from Kailali Constituency No 5 in the upcoming parliamentary election was for development of the entire province.

“My constituency in Kailali is the heart of the entire province, so it will be crucial to develop the entire district and the province if I’m elected from here,” Deuba told journalists in Dhangadi today. This was her first time in Kailali after the party settled on her name as a parliamentary candidate from here.

“We need to do a lot of things here, such as upgrading the Gauriphananta customs and Geta airport, managing freed Haliyas and Kamaiyas and squatters. I will do my best to address these issues if elected,” vowed Deuba, who became a CA member twice through the proportional representation system and has long been representing in the party’s general convention and mahasamiti.
