DAMAULI: Chief Election Commissioner Ayodhi Prasad Yadav has directed the the officials concerned to start making necessary preparations for the local elections.

Yadav, who reached Tanahun to monitor an under-construction building of the District Election Office today, claimed that the Election Commission of Nepal was capable of holding all elections in local, provincial and federal level.

Being a responsible body, he said, the Election Commission would do everything possible to build a conducive environment needed for the elections.

On the occasion, District Election Officer briefed him about the electoral roll and other necessary details.
