Baidhya faction forms parallel committee

Gaighat, May 5

The Mohan Baidhya-led faction of the CPNM Revolutionary party today formed a parallel district committee in Udaypur.

The committee, which claims that it has been formed to pile pressure for the unification of all the Maoist parties, was formed under the coordination of Jeevan Karki.

Karki argued that they were compelled to form as parallel committee because there

were attempts being made to unite the Maoist parties, end the party dictatorship and revoke the nomination of the central members in a wrong way.

Central member and district coordinator of the parallel committee Min Kumar Raut accused the party leadership of failing to run the party smoothly and also not paying heed to people’s everyday concerns.
