Bajura campus begins master’s level courses

Bajura Multiple Campus based in Bajura’s district headquarters Martadi is all set to start master’s level programme in the district.
Campus principal Suresh Pandit said the college with affiliation from Far-west University had opened admissions for master’s level in two streams. The college has invited applications for master’s level programmes on curriculum planning and leadership development under the education stream and rural development under humanities and social sciences stream. “We’ve started admitting students after conducting the entrance exam,” said the principal, adding, classes were due to start from March 17.
As per college sources, some 90 persons sat in entrance exam for the two subjects under the education stream and 60 persons for the only subject under the humanities stream. “Many students missed the entrance exam so we’re planning to take another entrance exam after a week,” Pandit said, adding, that the total fees for each programme was Rs 80,000.
Meanwhile, the start of the master level courses in the most remote district of the country has elated locals. “There are many youths who want to study but can’t go out of the district due to poor financial condition. I’m happy that students will be able to pursue their master’s level education here,” said Badimalika Municipalit-7 ward chair Dharmaraj Padhya.
