RAJBIRAJ: Tarani Prasad Sardar, staff of the Rural Development Bank, Kanchanpur, Saptari fled after taking Rs 2,400,000 from the bank.

According to Hom Bahadur Khadka, Assistance Chief District Officer, the money, to be distributed to 200 women of 60 branches of the bank, was taken by Sardar on June 3. The bank has been trying to contact him since then, but to no avail.

The bank has already filed a complaint at the Saptari District Administration Office and issued a warrant in his name.
