Bhutan refugee shot dead
JHAPA: Chairman of the United Revolutionary Front of Bhutan, Ramesh Subba, aka Kaila Fagu, was shot dead in Mechinagar-13, Ramailobasti, on Friday evening. According to Devi Fago, inspector at the District Police Office, Jhapa, Subba had been in the most-wanted list of the police. Police had been looking for him in connection with the murder of the former secretary of the Beldangi Refugee Camp, Shantiram Nepal. The police suspect a group of four persons linked to the United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) of India having a hand in the murder.
