Bid to promote tourism in Upper Mustang
JOMSOM: In a bid to promote tourism in Upper Mustang, a group of tourism entrepreneurs from Pokhara visited Korala, a Nepal-China border point in the region.
The entrepreneurs who had left for the border point under the campaign of 'Mission Korala-2016' on last Sunday, May 22, returned to the Lake City on Thursday.
The entrepreneurs reviewed the event during its concluding ceremony in Tatopani of Myagdi district on Thursday.
The Pokhara Tourism Council in coordination with the Nepal Tourism Board had organised the expedition.
PTC Chairman Som Bahadur Thapa said the team was successful in its mission.
The team members said they studied potentiality of tourism business in Lomanthang area and interacted with locals there as well as in the district headquarters Jomsom.
