Big three may wreak 8-party unity: NWPP
Surkhet, April 21 :
Chairman of the Nepal Workers’ and Peasants’ Party (NWPP) Narayanman Bijukchhe (Rohit) today said arrogance of the bigger parties may break the eight-party alliance.
“The bigger parties in the alliance, including the Nepali Congress, CPN (UML) and the CPN (Maoist), instead of working to achieve national goals,
are giving importance to their petty agendas,” Bijukchhe said.
Speaking at a press conference organised by the NWPP (Surkhet) in Birendranagar, Bijukchhe said the nation will face a grave consequence if the eight-party unity does not hold. He urged the bigger parties to stop bickering over trivial issues and stand united.
“Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala does not want constituent assembly polls held till the Nepali Congress and the Nepali Congress (Democratic) merge.”
