LAHAN: Two persons lost their life after a motorcycle accident along the East-West Highway in Siraha district.

The motorcyclist and pillion rider had sustained critical injuries in the accident near the Gagan Bridge at Kasaha, Ayodhyanagar of Dhangadhi Mai Municipality in Siraha this afternoon.  They were rushed to a hospital here in Lahan where they breathed their last.

The deceased have been identified as Sagar Dahal of Golbazaar Municipality-4 and Sachit Khadka of Lahan Municipality-10, Siraha, according to the Area Police Office, Golbazaar.

Dahal and Khadka were immediately rushed to the Ram Kumar Sarada Uma Prasad Murarka Memorial Hospital at Lahan following the accident. They died soon after getting admitted to the hospital, police said.

Both were riding the same motorcycle (Sa 4 Pa 4736) and heading towards Lahan when the accident occurred motorcyclist lost control after crossing the bridge.
