Bills tabled in House
Kathmandu, November 19:
Today’s session of the House of Representatives saw ministers tabling some Bills concerning their ministries along with reports of the parliamentary committees.
Finance Minister Dr Ram Sharan Mahat tabled the Provident Fund Bill, 2006, and Minister of State for Labour and Transport Management Ramesh Lekhak tabled the Foreign Employment Bill, 2006, and asked the MPs for clause-wise discussions.
Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Hridayesh Tripathi, drew the attention of the MPs towards the Petroleum Products Business Bill that was tabled in the House a few weeks ago, while Minister for Physical Planning and Works Gopal Man Shrestha called on the MPs to discuss the Nepal Drinking Water Corporation Bill, 2006. Chairman of the Population and Social Committee Birodh Khatiwoda tabled the Medical Science National Academy Bill, 2006 and Nepal Health Service Bill, 2006.
