Blast targets Narayan Kaji

Damauli: CPN-MC leader and left alliance Gorkha-2 candidate for the parliamentary polls Narayan Kaji Shrestha escaped unhurt when an improvised explosive device went off at Sirdikhola of Gorkha Municipality on Thursday.

Front portion of the jeep he was in  was damaged in the blast. Chief District Officer Jitendra Basnet said the blast occurred while Shrestha was 12 km from the spot where he was to address an election rally.
