Blasts bid to fan conflict, says Khanal
Mahendranagar, September 7:
UML leader Jhalanath Khanal said today that Sunday’s serial blasts may have been carried out to trigger clashes between Madhesi and Hill people.
Speaking at a press meet he termed the Tarai movement and the serial blasts in Kathmandu the last remains of the Maoists’ violent struggle.
Saying that the country could go for a republic before the CA election if the monarchy came in the way of the election, he said: “The country will be declared a republic before the election if there is any indication suggesting that the king is trying to hinder the election.”
