Bodies of school head, woman found
Sarlahi, November 5:
Two bodies were found at Kalinjor Chowk along the Mahendra highway of Sarlahi district this morning, district police said.
Police Inspector at the District Police Office, Bishnu Bahadur Karki, said the two bodies have been identified as those of the principal of Peace Home Boarding School at Kalinjor Village Development Committee-3, Anil Dhakal, and a woman, Urmila Lungeli. Both hailed from the same place.
Karki said the duo had apparently committed suicide by consuming poison.
The bodies were found near a teashop owned by one Iman Bahdur Karki at Kalinjor Village Development Committee-6, around six km south of the village.
According to the police, the duo had apparently consumed poison under the influence of alcohol.
Police said that four empty bottles of poison were also recovered from the site of the incident.
Superintendent of Police Manohar Rimal said mystery surrounds the deaths of the two.
Rimal said that Dhakal was a bachelor while Urmila was a married woman. Rimal added that police are probing the incident.
