BAITADI: Body of a man has been found on the bank of Chaulani River in Panjyuna area of Dogadakedar Rural Municipality-6 in Baitadi district, police said.

According to Baitadi District Police Office, the body of the man indicated that he had fair complexion with black hair, about five feet four inches tall, wearing a white and red striped shirt, green underpants and brown shoes, and was estimated to be 45 years of age.

According to police, the locals spotted the body at 7:00 pm and informed the police. Authorities have launched further investigation into the incident.

The body seemed to have started putrefying for the past two or three days, police said.
