BIRGUNJ; Parsa chapter of Federation of Nepalese Journalists today sought action against the assailants who misbehaved and beat up Nepal Television journalist Bhushan Yadav.

After meeting SP Subodh Ghimire, chief, Parsa District Police Office , a team of journalists led by the FNJ district president Satrughna Nepal demanded to bring the culprits to book and to provide compensation. The FNJ also lodged a complaint to police against the attackers.

SP Ghimire promised to provide security to the journalists.

The locals had taken Yadav under control before they manhandled him while he was taking photographs of their activities of vandalising a gas tanker on Saturday.
