Bordering Indian market full with Nepali customers

PARASI: The number of Nepali customers visiting bordering Indian markets for shopping for Tihar and Chhat festivals has been on the rise.

With Nepali markets out of stock of many goods including daily essentials, the neighbouring Indian market has become a good choice for the locals here.

Travelling across the border has become relatively easier after the agitating Madhesi parties relaxed their protests on the eve of the festivals.

Neighbouring Indian markets of Thuthibari, Laxmipur, Jhulnipur, Baragdawa and to Balmikinagar among others are full of customers from Nepal.
