GAIGHAT: A boy has lost his life from an electric shock while fishing in Mukhiya River in Katari, Udayapur, today morning.

Krishna Katuwal (11), son of Khadga Bahadur Katuwal, was fishing using electric current in the river in Lalpur, Katari Municipality-5, when he lost his life at around 9:00 am, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Sagar KC at the Area Police Office, Katari.

Katuwal died during the course of treatment in Katari Hospital, informed police.

Meanwhile, the police have started further investigation by questioning the other two -- Suresh Khatri (15) and Aashish Shrestha (14) -- who had gone fishing with Katuwal.
