Pokhara, May 19:

A Buddha Jayanti fair is scheduled to be organised in Yangjakot of Kaski district.

The three-day fair will begin from May 21 and showcase different events including competitions, Milan Yuva Club which is organising the fair said.

Ghatu, Sorathi, Malasiri, Rodi and other folk dances will be presented and women’s and men’s volleyball, basketball, shot put, folk duet song competitions among others will be organised in the fair, the club informed in a press conference held here yesterday. A 15-member main organising committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Devi Jung Gurung.
