PALPA: The burial of drinking water source in course of road widening drive has put the locals in trouble.

Rampant use of dozer in widening road has buried a source of drinking water, causing the disruption of its supply.

Locals have voiced their complaint that the source of drinking water was buried at Chheuphan in Mujhung area of Rainadevi Chhahara Rural Municipality-5, due to ignorance while expanding the local road.

Dhajabanne-Tansingal road in the rural municipality ward no. 4 being constructed with the investment of Rs one million from the rural municipality's ward no. 2 office.

The boulders and soil extracted in course of expanding road were thrown to the source of drinking water that resulted in disruption of its supply, said local resident Nur Bahadur Budhathoki.

As many as 60 households of Mujhung Chheuphan are facing the crisis of drinking water after the obstruction of water flow.
