MORANG: An army man died after being hit by a bus at Bayarban-8 in Morang district along the East-West Highway on Saturday night.

The deceased has been identified as Naindra Bahadur Khadka (32) of Sawakatare-1 of Khotang.

Khadka was stationed at the Sri Mehar Battalion in Salleri, Dhankuta.

Inspector Ramesh Basnet of the Area Police Office, Pathari said that the bus (Ko 1 Kha 2355) hit Khadka while he was walking.

Khadka breathed his last at the Urlabari-based Primary Health Centre.

Police said that they have impounded the bus and arrested its driver for investigation.
