Charikot, November 19:

Residents of Dolakha district’s Gairimudi VDC took five passenger buses belonging to the Araniko Yatayat under control at Kalidaha in Bhirkot VDC of the district on Sunday and Monday.

Locals said they seized the buses as a tit-for-tat treatment to the Araniko Yatayat, which had obstructed movement of buses belonging to the Rolwaling Yatayat in Kavre’s Dolalghat.

After the buses were seized, passengers were either stranded or forced to walk to their destinations.

Shambhu Thapa, an employee of the Arniko Yatayat, said a team led by Chhabi Lama and Dal Bahadur Tamang seized three buses today and two buses yesterday.
