CA polls will be held on time, says Dy PM Oli

Deputy Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli said today the government was committed to holding the constituent assembly (CA) election within the given timeframe. Inaugurating the eastern regional activists’ meet of the ANNFSU in Lahan today, deputy PM Oli said the interim statute would also be promulgated soon.

“The interim parliament would be formed as soon as possible”, Oli said, adding, “the process to form interim government has already been initiated”. Stating that the Maoists must give up violence, he urged the Maoists not to make haste in joining the government.
