Cabinet endorses Indian PM's Nepal visit

KATHMANDU: The government has decided to endorse the schedule of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's state visit to Nepal.

The Cabinet meeting held at Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar on Monday evening endorsed Indian PM's Nepal visit, shared Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology Gokul Prasad Banskota.

According to the schedule, Indian PM Modi is visiting Nepal on May 11-12.

Likewise, the meeting has decided to provide theoretical approval to formulate a bill to amend and integrate the existing laws on prison house.

Government Spokesperson Banskota said that the meeting has approved the Foreign Employment Demand Paper Probe Directive, 2075 BS.

As per the Directive, the foreign companies should get their documents verified from the diplomatic missions of Nepal in the countries concerned if the companies were supposed to hire Nepali workers.
